Hi we’re Shane and Katie. Husband and wife, local to the South West,
We started Brightside cleaning because we became frustrated watching businesses pay for cleaning services that were inconsistent, unreliable and impossible to communicate with.
For more than 20 years we’ve worked around commercial facilities and know one thing never changes: Businesses simply want cleaners who show up, communicate properly and leave the building cleaner than they found it.
That’s exactly what we do.

What matters to us
Shane has been working in facilities services / commercial cleaning since 2009, across strata complex management, offices, schools, medical centres, and government sites across Western Australia. Over the years, he saw the same problems repeat: contractors who didn’t show up, clients who couldn’t get a straight answer, and standards that slipped the moment no-one was watching.
Brightside is the business we built to fix that. Same experience, sharper focus and the kind of service we’d want if we were the client.
